@rufus566 Thats respectable.And your right,there was some backlash for the aqoustic guitars.But i will have to disagree about lulu,I RESPECT Metallica for wanting to collaborate with an artist like Lou Reed,but the end result just isnt any good.Ill respect your opinian if you like it,but alot of people just couldnt get into it.Especially i am the table ha ha

No, Ride is obviously a classic beloved by all, but back in the day hardcore fans were uncomfortable with the use of acoustic guitars and the slower tempos on Ride. They were expecting Kill em All part 2 and got something quite different. People are the same today with what they expect of Metallica's musical choices. If you expect Lulu to be a typical album you won't like it, but on its own its pretty cool. I lived the classic sound and don't want a part 2 remake...
