Yesterday life was terrible. Today life is much better.

First of all I hope that my inner thigh muscle rupture is not what I thought it was. My father told me he was sure it was a blood vein breaking. And he might be right, I hope so. Because today I could get up from a chair without hurting. So it feels like it's going to heal fast.

Benchpressing today.

First you see 2x180 kgs raw. This is the same as my 2RM PR. I did not have good technique on the second rep so it was much worse than the first that was really good.

On with the shirt. My best meet lift is 225 kg. I have never benched good in training. Last time I got 230 kgs. Today I tried 235 kgs and I managed it. A new PR.

Tried 240 kgs two times with the shirt pulled down and did not manage to hit the right spot.

Raised the bar to 250 kgs and brought the bar down. Unfortunately I forgot to push my elbows forward so the angle on my forearms got wrong. Therefore the lift was bad and I failed. But I think I might be able to do this lift if I hit the right form.

Last, but not least, one of my buddies did 122,5 kgs in the military press last week. By doing so he beat me with 2,5 kgs since my PR was 120 kg. Today I was going to train light in this excercise but instead I just warmed up and put on 125 kgs. I did breath out before starting the press and right before pressing I thought: "What should I do now?" I told myself: "You should press!" And so I did. New personal record.

This was good for me :)

  • @AggiedeLampedusa its a powerlifting bench shirt which tightens round you joints shoulders so when the weight lowers it tightens then when you press the weight back up it gives you recoil, like a spring.

  • gratz for the lift but you should start working on your beer belly youll look and feel better

  • Lycra really isn't your best look!

  • Fabelaktig løfting Einar! Du er meget sterk! :)
