I find science and studies always contradict each other for instance, i read 1 study you need to do 80% of your rm to grow the most muscle and theres a study on your site saying 30% high reps is best theres a guy on here who tested his theory on 1000's of prisioner and below 65% rm showed no growth. So whos the bro or whos the science?

@willbrink Thanks Will,
I've got a lot of respect for your professional knowledge. Really appreciate the solid info and looking forward to the next vid.

Another major source of broscience is the bodybuilding magazines. Oh lawd! So full of the broscience.
And yes, broscience is both about form as well as nutrition. They at least share a 50/50 split. In the gym you're more likely to get broscience advice about your form, while on the internet or in magazines you're more likely to get broscience advice about nutrition.

@madzyadzy07 will is pretty big too, he just doesn't wear wife beaters in his videos. Those guys are idiots.

twinmuscleworkout's advice is to just take a whey protein after, a creatine monohydrate/blend and if you need it a pre workout such as jack3d or craze. Will says very similar but they're funny and big dudes with experience

Bro Science Works!

@boby6 You don't really need people to review it because personal testimonies just do not hold up, you need science. Anything with 3 well controlled studies leaning toward the same result, you can pretty well trust.
Will, what's your take on gloves?
Not concerned with "matches your purse" comments, big enough (210) to get over it, Ronnie Coleman wears them, Navy Seal fitness manual recommends them, so argument's moot to me.
Not a competitive power lifter.
Started with them 25 years ago. When I skip them, I end up hacking calluses with fingernail clippers (otherwise can't get near my wife).
I see a lot of negative comments (most just bravado). Is there a true non-broscience drawback?
Thanks Will

There's no science reason per se, but people looking to optimize (PL, strong men, etc) are not going to use them as it does maximize grip. "Serious" strength athletes as a rule will not use gloves, but if you don't feel they interfere with your training, there's no real reason not to use them per se.

Working out is like investing successfully, you have to separate yourself from the crowd and follow a proven strategy.

And most make progress in spite of how they train...

Bro Science to me is more about form and routines. People saying things like do as many pull ups as you can each set and all that matters is you get your chin above the bar etc. Than they say say look at my back it's amazing so it will work for you too. While in reality it would be better to do slower more controlled movements and really feel the muscles contract. For supplements even with real data you need people to review it since next week a study will come out saying something different

Bro science applies to training all the time too, no doubt.
