thanks for posting this & detailing the solo - one of my favorite guitar solos ever ... there's one patented ace signature missing though ... go back to 7:23 in your recording and then listen to the alive 1 solo ... ace's idiosyncratic vibrato on those sustained bends ... it's not that easy to get at first, but ... that will put the finishing touch on an otherwise excellent rendition.

Really great sound man....and excellent playing too, spot on. great feel. What an incredible solo this is, love how you pick it apart. There's so much blues in it...Ace was such an underrated player. Would love to hear him in a straight ahead blues band, he'd tear it up. Rock on dude.

@Hydrefyricon Thanks so much. I played this one and Strutter back in the 9th grade talent show (OK, 1979). Probably not note for note back then, but always alot of fun!

Go for it!! One note - then one chord - then a few more - and suddenly you're standing in front of a wall of Marshalls riding your stage elevators!!! I used to draw Kiss stages when I was in Jr. High. Clem
