Sting recorded at the Wild West in Springfield VA way back on March 19th 1983, best version of Highway Star ... ever. Sorry about the crappy audio. Bill Rice vocals, Pat Romano guitar, Scott Rubel guitar, Jimmy Deadmore Drums, Andy Fidandis bass.

  • Well Pat has checked in and he's doing great. So that's Andy and Pat, now we need Bill and Jimmy to stumble onto this clip and check in! C'mon guys! Where the heck are you?

  • P.S I meant to tell you that this is my favorite all time version of Highway Star, and I have heard a lot!!

  • Hey Tom great to hear from you! Lets hook up soon I'll burn you a copy of that DVD.

  • I would love a copy of this show! I saw Pat a few years ago at Jaxx (wild west), he was playing with In Denial. As far as I know he still lives in Alexandria. I have known him for almost 30 years. OUCH!

  • Sent you a message...

  • OMG this is GREAT! Do you have anymore of this show? Pat Romano used to be very good. I wonder if he plays anymore. thanks for the memories.

  • I have an entire DVD full of this. The majority of the 3 one hour sets were recorded. I haven't talked to Pat in years, Jimmy or Bill either, I hope they are all doing well. Andy contacted me shortly after I posted this video and he's fine.

I believe that was the night you let me get up and play for a tune, I'd like to get copies of some shows on DVD if you wouldn't mind. Also I loved that Les Paul you had then; I remember you let me borrow it for one of my shows at the Wax Museum.. Hope you're well!! Drop me a pm. Tom
