  • I'd still take my trusty m16a4 for that good ole 700meters, over 300 meters worth of stamped metal parts firing.

  • check out the dragonskin armour on future weapons

  • I know it is an improvement, but it is not perfect. The ceramic insert is brittle and fractures under multiple hits, regardless of where it is hit, so maybe 3 rounds MAX. Also, the AK47 is a beast, one of the best assault rifles ever, and the other armour was mainly an anti-fragmentation armour. The second armour is also a hell of a lot more expensive... I was merely commenting, that as an observer, it was not a fair test.

  • OK, 0 penetrations out of 2 in the first vest. I guess the math wasn't that easy.

  • Sorry, but you have a weak argument buddy. If the first vest has a Max protection of 3 rounds, it refers to rounds hitting in the same place. There were 0 penetrations out of 3 in the first vest, 4 penetrations out of 4. It's easy Math.

  • I imagine that VoteVets will target Susan Collins, Norman Coleman, John Sununu, Gordon Smith, and John Warner in the next cycle... and this advertisement doesn't need to be changed at all...

  • what is interesting is the interceptor armour on the left, is only designed to stop 3 rounds. So if he had shot it four times like the first one... it would have gone through... failing to make his point... oh well

  • cool

  • Because the VFW is a bunch of mysoginistic old drunks who wanted no part of the Viet Nam veterans when they came home and wouldn't let them join for years, and they just don't endorse women, or Democrats, for that mattter. And now they have endorsed the Republican challenger who never served over the combat veteran Tammy Duckworth who lost both her legs in Iraq.

They are a "Band of Brothers" - with the emphasis on "Brothers."

  • If you go to any of these groups, you'll see.
