Also, I have to laugh at the idea that the American Revolution allows people to have bumper stickers. NEWS FLASH, MORON. We have bumper stickers in Britain too! You claim to support the American revolution but don't even know why it was fought! And best of all, you suggest we should get the police to silence people you disagree with! Freedom of speech? Sure, as long as you agree with conservatives, otherwise you are a traitor! The founding fathers would be proud, I'm sure.
I get to read bed time stories because of war? Yeeeah, great logical argument there, glad you thought that one through! Also if the question is "What is the correct way to deal with Iraq?" War has proved a disasterously wrong answer
The truth was that the British government then was among the freest in the world. However, signs of growing government control, censorship, and efforts to reimpose Catholicism made Britons in America concerned and they decided that the path to preserving their freedom lay in independence. Thus we have our society.
"Freest in the world"? That's a relative statement. unless you consider being forced to house troops in your home against your will, being taxed to death without representation, being lorded over by judges with no one to answer to and who get to personally keep all fines imposed upon you, and being forcibly disarmed by the military to be free, you really can't claim that our founders were "free" under Brittish rule... "Freest in the world"? Compared to what?
Of course it was relative, it just points out that the revolution was in response to creeping authoritarianism and mismanagement. England was far freer than France whose king declared that "I am the state" or Spain. London's actual control was minor until a few reforms that infuriated people concerned about losing what freedom they had.
My interest here is reminding people the path of freedom through the previous British law and when need came, to hold the law, not the British rule.
actualy they don't i personally know grif jenkins he on my best friends radio show all the time, and pjtv come up all the time! you do know steven crowder does work for fox news
I've heard that several school systems were cutting any and all wars we've been involved in out of history class because it's too "violent." History is slowly but surely being rewritten, and it is a scary thing. People cannot learn from the mistakes and triumphs of the past if the past is hidden from them. Of course, that is the idea. It is scary to compare what children are taught in history these days to what actually happened...
I have found that people that don't like Palin are not right in the head. It has nothing to with Palin but more to do with the person makeing the remark. But Ad Hominum is just what he was doing by thinking someone is a moron for liking Palin. When they would like Obama and he's Soooo much better at spending money so far.
