@cheyu65 LOL. Is Singapore the Republic of China? do they compete in international competitions as "Chinese Taipei"? have their own country? Singapore certainly..."Taiwan" the island is not recognized as a country by most of the world. Thanks for failing.

@AznKorn8 and we are DEFINITELY not North and South Korea. They can't even be compared with China and Taiwan. China and Taiwan are on neutral terms, they're not at each other's throats.

@AznKorn8 but i can see where @what77777 is/was coming from and what they were refering to, as i've noticed that some of the people who've tout being taiwanese seem to have a prejudice and perhaps even racism against china, and chinese - be it directly from within China or born/brought over/and grew up in another country, i.e. asian/chinese american (?...). Again not all but many/some have been/are, just take a look back at some of the content of the comments and what and how they're stated.

@rafikingkong still doesn't mean Taiwanese should be considered as Chinese in every aspects. Why don't you respect how people from their own country like to be called? we like to call ourselves Taiwanese and nobody should tell us who we should or who we shouldn't be PERIOD.

@Aznsnoopypwns Mainland China und Taiwan have the same chinese culture, chinese food, chinese language(hakka, Min Nan) chinese Mythology....even the government corrupt in the same way:( why dont you respect the FACT? The real nativeTaiwanese ethnic groups were already vanisched or assimilated by the immigranting Chinese ppl from the mainland,,,
