How to Use the Ask Feature on Tumblr

Tumblr allows you to ask questions and people to ask you questions on your blog, either publicly or privately. From your dashboard, click on your blog name.Click Settings. Scroll down to the Ask section. If you want people to be able to ask you questions, check the box next to Let people ask questions. You can name your page in the Ask page title box and check the box next to Allow anonymous questions if you'd like.Scroll down to the bottom. Click Save Preferences. To answer a question, click the message icon located at the top of Tumblr. In your inbox, you can see questions and submissions that your blog receives. Click answer to reply to a question. You can either Publish your post for all to see or Answer privately.

From your dashboard, hover over the avatar of a blog and click the i that appears. Click Ask to ask that user a question. Type a question or comment in the dialog box. Here, you can decide if you want to ask anonymously or not.

alright, so i was getting alot of anon hate, so i blocked an anon, but it ended up blocking alot of anon messages from coming through. i'll get all these email notifications about anons messaging me, but it wont show up on my actual tumblr. how do i unblock an anonymous user? someone please help! /:

when i try and ask someone something its says...'This feature is not available yet. Please check back in the future.' it has been saying it for about 1 week, what do i do ?? please replay back? :(
