As for this being unique and in uncharterd territory it is very out dated I remember stuff with the same vibe going on around 1991...Drum and bass had its day with goldie and groove rider as for Dub step ,,what a god awfull sound ..

Unlike the commercial UK bullshit I think you'll find NZ is leading the pack into unchartered territory with DnB and Dubstep among other genres.
