I was introduced to this song while I was living in Kailua-Kona, HI. Goodbye Elliott is a local band which never quite made it big in the main stream music world - but I love their sound nonetheless. I would highly, highly recommend purchasing this album if you enjoy a more relaxed, island-style alternative music.

Sadly, this music is being used without permission - but I personally feel that by putting their music out there, more people will be willing to buy their albums.

It isnt necessarily that they "never made it big." They just recorded an album and theyre contacting tons of labels to try to get it released on a label. They're still chasing their goal of getting out there, I don't think you can say any time soon whether or not they "did" make it.

Hehe, perhaps I should amend that statement I made then. They have yet to make it big.... yet. Personally, I love their music and really hope it catches on. They have a unique and relaxing sound, as well as a great deal of talent.

Glad there are others out there who enjoy them as well.

Maybe with the recent mainland commercial successes of Jack Johnson and Jason Mraz they'll have more luck breaking through, but they are amazing, are they not?

They are fantastic guys as well :) I just saw them 2 nights ago, their first show in a LONG while. Their new music is just as good as the old! I, like you, hope it catches on as well. Then again -- a part of me wants them ALL to myself
