Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of King of the Monsters for the Neo Geo, by SNK. Take control of six different giant monsters in this fighting game from 1991, with gameplay reminiscent of classic beat-em-ups, wrestling, and the arcade classic Rampage. Characters are heavily inspired by classic "kaiju" like Godzilla, King Kong, and Ultraman, and you'll have a blast destroying Japanese cities while crushing your enemies. King of the Monsters is playable as part of SNK Arcade Classics Volume 1 (PS2, PSP, Wii), Wii's Virtual Console, or slimmed down ports for the Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis. This video game review features King of the Monsters gameplay footage and commentary from CGRundertow reviewer Kevin.
