Tig Welding Steel using 309 stainless steel tig rod. Sometimes porosity rears its ugly head and 309 , while designed for welding carbon steel to stainless and also helps prevent porosity on carbon steel. Not ok to substitute for coded welds

  • One of the welders I learned on was a Miller Synchrowave 300 and it had a crater fill function on it. It was timed with the post flow timer and it was supposed to prevent crater holes, balls,cracks,etc.It was a nice feature but your machine with the down sloping current looks even better.

  • you dont know how to weld, down here in the NZ we have sandards, you have none...
