Christians and Muslims agree on a number of issues, but they disagree on the identity of Jesus. In this discussion, Nabeel Qureshi and Mufti Sulaiman Hashim defend the Christian and Muslim perspectives, respectively (and respectfully).

  • wasn't even close, Nabeel won by a mile. This Muslim guys seems clueless

  • Nabeel, seeing you as a role model, i promise to learn more about the Scripture to be able to better explain my faith in front of unbelievers. I am truly inspired and touched by your experience and what an eloquent man of God you have become now. Thank you. I am praying in tongue for you that the Spirit leads as effectively as possible to declare bravely the truth and the undeniable logic of Christ's story against twisted and perverted version of corrupt foreign belief.Jesus bless and keep you!

  • @Shezi270 by Zakir Naik refuses to debate the likes of Nabeel Qureshi, David Wood and Sam Shamoun. they have many times put forward invitations to Dr. Naik but he declines everytime.

  • The Muslim guy is not aggressive enough. Why the hell doesn't Dr.Zakir compete wit him!??

  • Sorry these customs have nothing to do with Christianity in the bible. The true Christianity is the one which is written in the bible and we can read how Lord Jesus lived and his teachings and we can read and learn how the disciples followed the same teachings. This is the real christianity.

  • nabeel is not a former muslim, he is a former "ahmadi" which is the equivalent of mormons to christianity

  • Nabeel, you claimed you were an Ahmadi muslim - Ahmadi muslims do NOT believe Jesus is going to return, they think he died a natural death - so how can you claim that your REASON to investigate these verses in the quran, was all due to the verses about Jesus' death? Contradicting. If you wanted to become a christian for your own convenience, you should go ahead and do so, there's no need to create confusing videos to defend your decision, all you are doing is misleading and confusing others. TY.

  • Nabeel has good material also at Acts17Apologetics channel.

Yes; I fail to see why he thought that worth uttering. I suppose "injeel" is a corruption of the Greek word "euangelion" or at least "angelion", which refers to the Good News (the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Bible refers to "the Law and Prophets and Writings" (making 3 sections of the old testament) or "scriptures" which means "writings".

"Bible" is derived from Byblos, which was a term related to a book. The Holy Bible is "the book of books".

There are many customs, like Christmas trees and Easter eggs, that have become part of a European and North American culture that was traditionally based on Christianity, but they are not biblical, and I agree they have some similarities to pagan customs. I view them as silly, though I am Christian.

I live in the southern hemisphere, where it is summer at Christmas, so Easter is autumn. Those customs do not mean so much here.

  • @quranresponse

No; Jesus Christ did not teach his disciples to carry out violent jihad, nor forced conversions nor killing of people (in this life) for rejecting the gospel.

That verse in Luke 19 is part of a story he told about a ruler (not about himself), It was one of his parables. He told parables also about women looking for a lost coin or making bread or a sower casting seed over a ploughed field, and many other stories. Each parable makes a major point.

  • There is no historical evidencce that Jesus lived. The Jesus hoax = Mithra the sun god who was born on December 25 and born of virgin, died on a cross and resurrected three days later. Nabeel Qureshi your so credulous, do wake up all religion is made up! You forget the Gnost gospels, the Council of Nicaea. . . Christianity is a hoax!
