you'll never know all that encompasses a simple dot unless you're actually a part of that group of people. can you imagine why they would love wearing a dot? But they do. it's a sign of beauty and spirtuality for them. Also, what you call a dot in english is litteraly called a "pilli" in Tamil. But we don't call it a pilli (a mere dot), we say it's a "bindi", bindi doesn't mean dot. It carries meanings that are beyond a mere "dot". If something died in my butt, so be it :)

yah..i remember watching a al jazeera or national geographic YT video on that...how sad that their deprived of the full sexual potential in life.
I still wouldn't want the dot tho..hah :)

out of all the other things that women are subjected to in this cruel world, I would rather wear a dot on my forehead, then to belong to a culture that mutilates the female anatomy for the sake of virginity.
