Drummer, if you keep walking down the same ally and every time a brick falls out of the building and conks you on the head then try a different ally. Your argument fails over and over. Cut the tether to your personal non-deity and emancipate yourself for the sake of your self dignity and for a real pursuit of knowledge, truth, and realism. Take life by evidence or by reasonable evidence, it's at least the American Way (as a last ditch appeal).

@ndrummer99 If a man can find value in himself then perhaps he wouldn’t need others to find it for him. When we stop seeking to be valued by others perhaps we can make more time to show others they are valued by us. Every life is unique; no one can tell u what you are worth.

@RicenCoal What man seeks self appointed value? We want to be valued by others. Finding your value in a God who in nature is holy and worthy and blessed and eternal is far superior than finding it in your self.

Deism is fine. It's the divine wisdom of a deity or a son of a deity who is the deity, the unalterable word when reason shows us that well on second thought we do much better than the first attempt, but no no no, that's a violation of the unalterable word .... and I just watched Catch 22 for the first time last night, wow, just wow. :|

@ndrummer99 There is an old story: God made man out of mud and as man alone mud could speak. The mud looked around in awe of God’s creation. It ask politely, “God what is the purpose of all this”.

To which god answered, “Everything must have a purpose?”

“Yes, of course” said the mud.

“Then I leave it to you to think of one for all this” said god and he vanished.

The value you place on your life is the only one that truly maters.
