I also thought this was Amy Grant the first time I heard it - it sounds so much like "Good For Me" - only BETTER! Honestly, though I'm a huge Amy fan, I think Lisa has a better voice. This only made it to #36 on the Hot 100 but was played enough on Top 40 radio stations to reach #12 on the Radio & Records chart. I'm glad she is still singing (even if only in church) and doing well.

I absolutely adore Lisa's vocal talent - so much soul, so much depth, so pitch-perfect. Her work with Jam & Lewis is so often overlooked, but she really brought so many of their tracks to life - you can hear her quality voice, rich harmonies and adlibs threaded right through much of Janet Jackson's, SOS Band's and Alexander O'Neal's tracks to name just a very few of the more famous. Superb.
