@mikeatheman Well, you are correct to some extent. First of all, I've never had a bullying problem, so this isn't a vent or anything. But still, they act like a bunch of toddlers! I will say I was ignorant in my last post; the military will harden your emotions in BMT (I don't have to speak from experience) but you shouldn't find that in CAP. That simply isn't what we're there to do.

@airtrekker5 Chill out, whether or not hazing violates the core values is irrelevant, hazing is a military tradition, just because your a nerd who got bullied doesn't mean you can condemn an Academy tradition! And a little joking around from time to time is perfectly fine, every branch plays around.

of Cobb County Composite Squadron, and I am a proud member and take pride in everything I do no matter what rank or grade I am.

I have seen hazing before and it just makes me sick how these cadets talk about integrity when, deep down, there is much hypocrisy.

It's all just in Hollywood, folks. It may be in a movie, but you will find this at wrongdoing in the real military. I agree with you blackhawlk2262 and Semper Vigilans.

It goes even a little deeper than that. These cadets do not remember their core values. Doesn't hazing ring a bell? No? How about respect? Integrity?

What a disgrace. And Cadet Company Grade Officers and Cadet Field Grade Officers. It disgusts me to know that there are people out there that have the great privilege of calling themselves Cadet Major or Cadet Captain and take no pride whatsoever in what they do.
