Bomberman Online (Dreamcast) - Ending

When you collect all five of the medals by becoming the Champion in each arena, you are treated to the game's ending. Note that you can only see this once. After getting your fifth medal, it will not pop up again.

The five medals bestow Bomberman with the Master Metal. The symbol of the dragon and by just holding it, transforms him into a Martial Artist. (Freakin' AWESOME). He doesn't waste any time in opening up his own dojo where you become the Master Bomberman

Man... if ONLY we got to do some of that in the real game, holy crap this game would've made some heads spin. Oh well, the credits will then follow. The music is once again nice. Well that was plenty of fun. Nice change of pace in the story where usually you have to defeat some overlord.

You know this isn't the first game to show Bomberman as a martial artist, which is odd as it completely contradicts his usual method of attack ie: blast the living daylights out of everything with explosives.

I think there would be some great ideas put into the costume. It reminds me of Super Bomberman 4, the "Push" power-up. Shoving or throwing your opponent right into a blast would be fun.

Though where was bomberman also shown as a Martial Artist?

It was in the "Master Mode" of Saturn Bomberman, another one with interesting enemy bombers which I know almost nothing about.

But you're right, it could have been an excellent new powerup. In fact, doesn't the intro to this very game show Bomberman in some sort of robotic suit? Does that ever appear in-game?

It doesn't and I could curse a hundred times for them NOT doing it

There might be some collection panels that lets you customize your bomberman to look something like them... but I don't really know.Even though you get hints, some of them are really vague so I haven't gotten them all yet.
