Nice tweak upgrade. Out of curiosity...you saving the potential in anything...or putting it to work? or you have plans to? Don't remember seeing that part ....

@wtam69 Yes I think so too, thanks for the comment.

More power and probably safer too.

Good job! How much do the new wire cost?

That was a pretty good improvement for just a wire change. Sometimes the GTIs are picky about low voltages so if you get up above a certain "sweet spot" it can perform better. Your morning/evening power will be better too. Looks like part of the year you may have some shadows from the telephone cables above, other than that it looks like a good location. You should get those panels bolted down soon so they don't walk away. I've been posting more info and tech stuff at techluck.com - drop on by!

That would power my net book. A 75 what inverter in my car powers it.

@amy2x That would be interesting to see I guess it would as long as its a sunny day.

You've got it dialed in. My 135w commercial panels are doing about that today too, same inverter as you. It's the most I've seen, so you da man!!

@Fearlessthinker Thanks I think thats just about about maxed out on wire. I could build some booster panels but I think I will just buy a another panel this time. I m just using what I already have around here to improve things. I sure wish I had another 80 watt to pair up with the one I got. Interested to see if I can match its voltage and run them together and see if they out perform this diy duo.
