  • @rawkinsuperstar Those weren't soaked (I think he'd have mentioned it).

Had they been soaked (assuming they weren't and then dehydrated), the result would have been much different--more like soggy paste than chopped meat. Soaking, regardless, isn't appropriate for every seed/nut.

  • Health properties aside, the most important aspect of Nama Shoyu wasn't mentioned--that it's the best-tasting soy sauce available (I've been using it since 1988).

VERY impressed to see a Robot Coupe used (although I imagine the local health dept. insists on commercial-grade equipment).

  • SHHHHHH

  • Has he ever commented on the link between soy products and memory loss/brain issues in those who consume a lot of soy products in their older age? I would try this recipe but I would use romaine lettuce for the shell. Only because I have never tried greens, it seems like the greens would have a bitter taste.

  • I eat at his restaurant all the time and these tacos are one of my favorites!! I've turned so many people onto his food just from these tacos.

  • Allright!!

  • I hope so. I would soak them if I were to make this recipe.

  • I made the raw taco and took it to work and people took a sample on it and loved it...I also bought the book Rawvolution and it is my Bible for raw food....thanks for all the great ideas

  • Were the walnuts been soaked first?
