This is a video I did of my kids opening their Christmas presents. They both got Kindle Fires. They love them but I am a little disappointed that you can't prevent them from buying apps without entering a password.

Otherwise it is a really cool device.

  • they don't need a kindle fire there little kids

  • @908jaymoney Nobody "NEEDS" a kindle fire or an iPad for that matter. The Kindle fires are very handy tablet computers for teaching kids to read though. They also cost a lot less than any other tablet or laptop.

  • Why the hell did the mom gave there kids fucking pickles

  • @cyborgmonkey007 Why do you cuss so much in a question? They like pickles. That is why they got them. And it was from Santa not their mother. :)

  • Looks like someone was here last night...Santa!!!! Oh no it was mom nvm

  • @cyborgmonkey007 Shhhh. They are still young enough to believe.

  • @TheAdoptedShayTard 6 and 8. And sure they don't "need" a kindle fire. However, it has helped my son catch up in learning to read in the few short days he has had it. Technology is not always bad. With a little supervision and guidance it can have great benefits.

  • @TheAdoptedShayTard To each his own. However, the Kindle fire is a lot more than just a gaming or movie device. It gives them access to pretty much every book. I think most people equate the Kindle Fire with the iPad. The major difference is that the iPad is more than 3 times as expensive and not nearly as portable. The kindle fire is not really that much different than a Nintendo DS in price and size. However, it offers the kids a whole more than just mindless games.

  • @mpgxsvcd yeah i guess pickles are pretty good...:/

  • @ScottsiPodtouchhelp You can add a password. However, they have to enter that password everytime they use it. I want there to be a password only when they buy something. That way I can control when they buy something. Instead I just put an invalid credit card number in and bought a gift card with a few dollars on it. They can buy whatever they want but not over a few dollars. I monitor what they buy through my email.

  • In the settings you can actually add a password

  • Excellent video. I can definitely relate
