Do you have a video on handling a horse that yakes on the halter? How could you be sure with his past that he would not flip over on you when you got on?

Love what you do and how you do it.
Like others, am hoping for some buddy sour videos.

I'm so glad you picked this little guy up. With some tlc he could be quite a looker! I'd love so much to own again but right now college is top priority. I don't think people should force their horses to do something (like this little guy previously went through). People should ask and the horse should choose to comply. When people manhandle an animal to make them do something (like you described what happened to him) that can really mentally damage a horse and the reversal can take a long time.

God bless you David, you're doing really good work with this horse. I use a Len Brown Corrector Pad on my horse. I ride him in an English Farrington, but am thinking of moving into western riding. I just like the way the western horses seem to be more relaxed, maybe it's because you guys tend to leave the horses sides and mouth alone, until you want to ask them to do something. Currently ride bitless, but was thinking about the bosal, any advice on those. I only trail ride.

Very interesting..... this poor boy look s to have many issues.... He seems very crooked in the legs which is making him unbalanced, too long in the back and could have some unsoundness issues too i.e sacroiliac issues as he doesn't want to back up. At best just a riding pony. Best of luck with him David. :)

Following your videos I keep learning new things....still hoping for a video on dealing with the barn/buddy sour horse (that doesn't want to leave the barn for a trail ride, or maybe doesn't want to go past the gate in the arena, etc). I think that's something people oughta be able to work through with their horses!

That horse must have the heart of a lion to have gone through all that crap and still be so gentle and quiet. Something about this one has really got to me, please update us on how he comes along and tell Nicki she is awsome heck I would love to adopt him if I lived over there he looks like driving might suit him better you think maybe?
