Don't put your spiritual life in cold storage over the summer! Sr. Julia recommends books for Eucharistic adoration and self-instruction in the Catholic faith.

Discerning a vocation to the religious life? Sr. Julia is living her consecration as a Daughter of St. Paul, evangelizing the world through publishing and other forms of media. The worldwide Pauline Family is ten institutes with one Eucharistic spirituality. There may be a place for you in the Pauline Family: religious congregations, secular institutes (for singles, married couples and priests) and the cooperators association.

  • "Life for the World" is the main book I bring with me for Adoration. Great for personal or in group use. Great prayer book.

  • Proud to be Catholic too

  • Thank you for these wonderful recommendations, Sister. I'm really looking forward to reading both of them soon!

  • Thank you, Sister. Pray for us.

    Proud to be CATHOLIC.

  • I did a search using the word "Catholic" and came across this video. Thank you very much for the recommendations, Sister. Even tho you posted this near a year ago, God is still using it in His Time (funny how He does that, eh?). I just signed up for Eucharistic Adoration with my new parish, & I've finally been able to get a quiet corner in my house away from the family noise, so I will be using both recommendations I think.

Thank you for answering God's call.

  • I agree with Sister Julia completely about the book Life for the World. I bought it at a Pauline Cooperator retreat a couple of years ago and have used it over and over again. It's an aesthetically beautiful book also, with quality paper, nice fonts, pictures, etc. I love it.

I haven't read Fully Human, Fully Divine but I think I will give it a try.

  • Bishop Fulton Sheen said, There very few people who hate the the Catholic Church for what it is. There are many who hate it for what they think it is.

  • Keep these great videos coming sister!
