I have relatives living in China and they are perfectly happy. I don't know how staying in China for a few months (or a few years - I don't know, I'm just assuming) has made you think so negatively of the country and its government, really. And since we're on CNN, well even though I choose to think it's not intentional, their reports are misleading, and that's bad for us 'cos that leads to increased tension between the East and the West.

Are you joking? The corruption is everywhere and you must know it if you are from Shanghai. Do you really want to hear my stories? Sure everyone has a bias. but the lies of bias and omission are quite different in nature from those of absolute fabrication and deception. If you are objective you will see it. For example many in china is saying CNN lies about the Torch, tibet etc. Well Ive seen their coverage, they don't lie at all. however their perspective does lack completeness.

And I am not just talking about the Chinese or the Westerners, I'm making a general statement. And talking about your experience living in China, may I ask you, what have you seen or heard that proves your point?

No I didnt "viciously" attack chinese government, I merely pointed out some FACTS about China. And Im not blind, Ive lived in China and seen it with my own eyes and throught the personal experiences of many of my Chinese friends. You are in denial.

Dont you think a little more respect for Tibetans will also help others in China that are struggling against the machine? Your government has labled the Dalai as a "seperatist" and a "terrorist". Come one man, use your brain and not your nationalist emotions. China has big problems and it will resolve them through either evololution or revolution. You choose which one?

While you viciously attack the Chinese government and the media for painting a biased picture of the social unrest in Tibet, you are blinded by your own prejudices and your media's equally partisan reports.
