A Jazz Legend at Trinity Part One

Jazz legend and Trinity parishioner Andrew Hill performed his last public concert at Trinity on March 29, 2007. He passed away on April 20, 2007, after a long battle with lung cancer.

I had a chance to go see this concert for free, when i lived in williams street, right by that church, and i missed it because i wanted to stay home and shed. how retarted was I?!

Brilliant. Thanks for posting this excellent clip. Andrew Hill is hard to find on UTube. Black Fire is one of my favourite AH albums. RIP.

MIRA was played on our jazz station last night. I did not know Andrew Hill, but now I do. I dreamed that melody all night long, had a wonderful sleep. Bless Andrew Hill forevermore.
