This landing wraps up a very successful Space Shuttle mission. The landing took place on November 27 at 9:44 a.m. EST. Atlantis and the STS-129 crew orbited the earth 171 times for a mission duration of 11 days. This mission featured 3 also very successful spacewalks to outfit the International Space Station. The astronauts left 2 ExPRESS Logistics Carriers and about a ton of supplies on the Station. All these parts will be critical for the time after the Shuttle's retirement. Coming home on this mission is Astronaut Nicole Stott, she spent 91 days in Space. This mission marks the last shuttle crew rotation flight to the ISS.
