  • And we continue waiting for a great man to lead us. The wait may be a long one. Ron Paul is not a great man. And since he's declared that he intends to end the federal reserve ensures that he will not receive any money from the ruling class, which controls the government and the media. Oh yeah, he also hates minorities. Just because he's NEW doesn't mean he's any GOOD.

  • I've not seen anything similar to Ron Paul in the past. And by your own logic, you are wrong about Ron Paul. He has a record of voting against gov't expansion, taxes, unbalanced budgets. He wants to end the Federal Reserve, champions competing currencies/sound money, civil liberties, and end the Income Tax. What politician/statist EVER wanted to end the Income Tax and replace it with Nothing? Sorry, you didn't convince me with your speculation.

  • This is exactly why philosophers are so unpopular. They claim to know what's right, but they refuse to take a step in the right direction because they consider the step imperfect.

  • He does not understand Ron Paul. I do, however, understand from where he comes.

  • thats why its a revolution, its cyclical. if i was president i would disband government and wish the people the best of luck but i support the movement, the intention is good.

  • stefan, remember that similar arguments are given for every moral revolution.

  • I agree with you totally that those who try fix have dismally failed. With you in regards to Ron Paul. I do think we are fast coming to the point youth will leapfrog over all those stuck in their ways as youtube and the internet are connecting the minds of the global village. Its youth's innovative and creative ways, Would love see a movie being made of a courtcase of if the state is has the right to educate youth. it needs be smorgasbord of opportunity for each to follow up on their interests

  • Points taken but I would hope a "slow and steady" transformation would take place. For example first start with allowing private companies such as FedEx and UPS to get into the first class delivery service while slowly closing post offices. Just a quick thought on this but something like that. I am with you though as far as "using the state to shrink the state." Has never happened so I agree that it won't happen. The people have to not support the state. Stop feeding the beast.
