I am a bartender. Most of those things aren't annoying. The ones that ARE annoying are really only annoying when I'm slammed, such as asking me to change the channel on the TV RIGHT NOW or snapping your fingers to get my attention when I'm clearly busy and then not knowing what you want to order. Shitty tippers always suck, of course, but I think I treat everyone nicely, and it's usually reciprocated, both with tips and with demeanor. I'll take a nice shitty tipper over a douchenozzle any day.

Lol why does everyone say "get a real job" and still come out and spend their cash haha...wtf? Most of you work in a factory, zombies can work there! Aint no skill involved. And if everone in the industry got a "real job" i bet everyone would complain about not having a bar in your area. Theres always something to complain about..if it aint a "real job", dont come to the "fake bar"

I'm 5'7" and 160lbs....it takes far more brains to talk a 6'2" 205 pound asshole down then try to take him head on. In all my years bouncing I've only ever had one physical altercation, he was my size.....and beyond reasoning, attacking me first. I am not a tough guy, I'm really nobody, but I have clearly worked with some really shitty bartenders if you guys don't think that's the norm.

mh hmm i see .. ive had some co workers who have been like that. Ive allways been guest friendly and as much as i loved getting a nice tip , i never did anything to force it than just bein my own friendly self . Bein a Bouncer is one hell of a job .. especially when it comes to haveing patience with people. ;-)

I've been a bouncer now for the last 5 years, I could tell you some stories too, unfortunately they almost always involve a bartender over serving for their own selfish gain.

Sure i loved the tips .. but the problem is that if someone is so drunk, they just lurk around because they ve been drinking up all their money . Or getting really strict about it because they want a cab or bus or even want to get more drunk. This annoys normal Customers especially Women. I could tell you storys man ;-)

God I hate self entitled bartenders, if you don't like it get another job asshole. What the bartenders aren't saying is, they love to over serve the regulars who pump them full of coke and tips, keeping the status quo and ensuring that any normal customer is made to feel alienated, then complain about us not tipping.

If someones drunk it's your legal obligation to have them leave the establishment, but like most POS bartenders I'm sure you love the tips more then seeing someone die because you over served.
