  • dude wtf is this?

  • @Sanshaino - Her name was Andrea Dunbar. She was a playwright from Bradford, England.

  • @kybed - These are actors speaking the words of Andrea Dunbar's children and family. It's a disturbing and desperately sad film. If you can get used to the accents (I understand that might be difficult) and if you're interested in this kind of thing, you'll learn the reality of working class life in contemporary Britain. The image the British film industry perpetually pushes is a sham - Hugh Grant's awfully nice professional Englishman abroad. Sadly 'The Arbor' is the reality.

  • Well, I'm guessing that a writer adopted the child of that Indian woman and then died...or something? I don't know...lol

  • @Drjrecordz No they succeeded alright. I think you are just mislead by the usual Hollywood trailers because now you have actually found a trailer which leaves space for an unforeseen storyline to evolve in the film, as this is usually done in the trailer by the overbudget productions.

  • Oh I get it.. they're trying to be artistically intelligent with their trailer.

Kind of like how Abrams did with Cloverfield.

    too bad they failed.

  • A briilant doco.film......saw it at the sydney film festival...............5/5
