Too slow for a 2000 Dodge Durango 5.9 R/T. 30-95 mph rolling start. 6200 ft elevation, slightly uphill. Superchips power programmer, fastman 52mm throttle body, gibson exhaust headers, straight pipe, cat delete, short ram intake, transgo shift kit, 91 octane, 140,000 miles.

  • dude u need to change ur plenum, sparkplugs, wires, distrib cap and rotor!

  • @dodgeramkx250 Got rid of the stock manifold. Replaced it with the mopar M1 non-EGR. Solved the spark knock and the oil consumption. Replaced the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor at the same time. Its slow because of the elevation im at. Down close to sea level its a whole different animal.

  • I'll film a new video that is not uphill soon.

  • was that the rev limiter?@5500 rpm's

  • @jonnyfender25 Yes the rev limiter is at 5500rpm's. thank you for watching

  • @akuzadodge oh ok, yea i notice a small difference in my truck at 2500ft from sea level. I would recomend the sct tune instead of the superchips also. And how did you like m1 intake?

  • Took longer to get from 60-70 than from 80-95 haha

  • omg!!! i dont mean to dog on you but that thing is slow and with a 5.9 and all those mods even going up hill it should of been better than that.

  • i can get my 02 slt from 0-100 about that quick

  • i got a bbk 52mm comeing for my 99 5.2L i hear that thay realy help up to 6000 rpm the stock TB starts to floats around 4000rpm you got a good hit on the rpm when you hit that gas A+ man

  • @fordboy111591 Those 4.7's are good motors and are a bit quicker than the AWD R/T's stock. The 5.9 is "undertuned" from the factory. The 5.9's have alot of potential with only minor mods such as a tune, intake manifold, headers, cam, etc... Thank you for watching
