Granholm: Al Gore made a very persuasive case

Jennifer Granholm, host of "The War Room," says Current TV co-founder and Chairman Al Gore played a direct role in encouraging her to make her television hosting debut on Current TV. She says Current's independent voice will bring the freedom to do her show without anyone "pulling the marionette strings."

@critic480 I can see her wanting to go "Hollywood" because she grew up in Orange County. I was born and raised in Michigan, and have spent the last 15 yrs in L.A./ San Diego, and trust me, it's very easy to "Go Hollywood".

Don't get me wrong, I feel you on the Hollywood part, and using Michigan as a possible stepping stone. I got all caught up in the Hollywood mentality until I saw how false and superficial it is. Then I started wearing my Michigan gear with pride!!

@publicatdamagnificen Oh yes, She had like a "little dipper configuration" of facial warts. Check out an older video. She said she always wanted to be in movies and now shes gone Hollywood and had those gnasty little warts gnawed off.Bet the warts are glad !

@critic480 Warts? I didn't know she had warts! I left Michigan when Angler was governor back in 96, so I guess I'm looking at the finished product. Lol Lol.
