  • Bassman5588, well said my friend. REBUILD NYC SKYLINE!!! The footprints of the towers are there. Most Americans want the twin towers to rise again. Are you kidding me? Some people don't want the towers to be rebuilt because of 9/11. So those people are giving in to someone attacking us. The twin towers IS America. My respect to the families OF 9/11- God bless-

  • The twin towers actually looked good with the NY skyline. The freedom tower, alone with the buildings around it, looks like a complete mess, and dosent fit in...

  • I think the best way to honor those who died there is to rebuild the two towers. But this time build them even TALLER! Freedom Tower is a joke

  • At the time they were built and opened, many New Yorkers hated the towers for aesthetic and practical reasons. I'm not against building something there, but shouldn't it be a memorial to the people who died, and just turn on the lights at the week of 9-11, rather than putting up another unbelievable sky-high building? Won't it just be another target for the minions of evil and you-know-who?

  • My friend and I made our way down to ground zero Dec 26th 2007 I have to tell you we both cried even though it's 8yrs ago when this tragedy happens so many lives lost and hearts broken how could we not shed some tears looking at all those photos on the memory wall.

So have a heart when you dare to be so hateful with your words all I can say with all honesty is God BLess those families, no the country that lost so much God Bless America. New York will always have special place in our heart

  • So because people havent been there they dont deserve to express an opinion?Oh shut up you fuckin peck! The Towers are just steel bricks and water. Its the people that died that day which was really sad and your immoral, Incompitent goverment that allowed it to happen no matter which way you want to look at it.I hope Clinton or Obama can give the Us its face back after having a two faced president after all these years.

  • o plz u fucking ppl shouldnt even talk if u never been there then just STFU right now cuz i bet no1 rele appreciated the twin towers existance until they were gone i ve been there and it was the best view of my life but 4 ppl who live on the other side of the world just dont talk cuz u have no say on what gets built there

  • well said i couldnt agree with u more theyre taking 4ever to build one fucking tower but yet the empire state building took less than 9 months to top out and that was in 1931 where we had less technology and machines i mean almost 2 years on a foundation is a disgrace especially 4 america god bless the victims of 9/11

  • The WTC site will have the footprints of the mighty towers. In the future if they rebuild the twin towers, I know I and many others will go to the top floor. Almost 90% voted for the twin towers to be rebuilt. That speaks volumes. Someday in the future someone will do the right thing. UNITED WE STAND!!!

  • If the Twin Towers bring back "bad memories" then why does 95% of America support rebuilding them, and why do people like myself and others who are dedicated to making a tribute to them and those who died do so good?

  • yeah. the twin towers's good memories outweight the bad ones. I don't automatically cry whenever i see pictures of the twin towers. i remember how great they were and how great they could be again. For some people everything reminds them of 9/11. Even going to the laundromat is a painful reminder, but will you forever stay out of that laundromat because it brings back bad memories...no. Don't let emotions conflict with good judgement.
