UPDATED 8/27: Dear friends, further whining and complaining and DEMANDING for this to be released for free will be met with laughter, finger pointing, and ridicule. I've had people message me, demanding me to release this as a rom, threatening me and calling me most names in the book. Protip: Spend some money yourself obtaining these and dump them yourself. No one is "hoarding" anything but people sure do forget when people already have dumped things for them in the past. Just enjoy the video friends, and know that yes, this does exist somewhere in the world :)

Socks the Cat Rocks the Hill. Video recorded at the home of a private collector. Enjoy! This is the only known copy of this game. Yes, this is THE Socks the Cat prototype. If you have questions, feel free to ask either here or through a PM. I will not be releasing the name of the collector, nor will I be telling how he got it.

Socks the Cat Rocks the Hill is an unreleased video game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and the Sega Genesis. It stars Socks, the pet cat of 42nd US President Bill Clinton, and his family, in a platforming adventure in which he has to make his way past spies, crooked politicians and the media to warn the White House of a stolen nuclear missile. Scheduled for a release in the Fall of 1993, the game was complete and ready to be shipped to retailers, but was suddenly cancelled following the closing of publisher Kaneko's US branch.

  • could you make the quality on this video any shitter

  • @weds9994 Actually, yes I could. Instead of recording from my cell phone, I can re-record this from a corned beef sandwich or a can of Dr.Pepper 10 if you would like, just for you.

  • I'm not here to change your mind, just state an opposite philosophy. Realistically this software is worthless -- unreleased software with an out-of-date character on an obsolete platform. It's only value is rarity self-imposed by collectors. And any time I've come into possession of something similar, I've always distributed it, free of charge, as fully and completely as I can. There's nothing fun about owning something that no one else can enjoy.

  • @sonicepochguy It is to the person that owns it.

  • I have not seen a rom of this game yet.

  • Where did you find such a treasure for SNES collectors ?!

  • @KungFuFurby Me too, apparently Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata" was buried in the game, I presume as old boss music from where you go to Neptune and fight George Washington for the right to be called Iron Chef. Whodathunkit

  • @dbxbeat Youre a retard

  • @DreamTR That's fair a deal. I don't have an MM machine but that's absolutely reasonable for a piece of VG history, even if it is a clump of kitty litter.

  • @RickLowerboy84 Magic.

  • @sonicepochguy You really don't have a clue about what you are saying, so don't bother posting. If you are in the market of giving away things give me all of your video games. Surely they are worthless. Gotta love how people can always try and tell people what to do with their own stuff.
