Malia and Sasha Obama in the White House: Doug Wead interviewed

Almost a year into this presidency I think the media has been very respectful of Malia and Sasha and good for them. Their cuteness factor obviously helped to nominate Obama at the convention and I don't doubt they will be trotted back out during the 2012 election cycle...far the wiser. And even Lush Rambo dare not them call them dogs like he did to Chelsea Clinton and they are unlikely to have underage drinking problems like the Bush girls.

I never like CBS because I thought they were too political to the left but now NBC owns that spot and even ABC, while CBS looks more professional, neither left nor right., just news.

I can disagree with the policy and approach to getting to an objective, but when all is said and done, a person in a position of public leadership is owed a certain amount of privacy which should include their children. We all are given that gift of choice to raise our children by our personal values. The Obama's have a beautiful family, and I am certain they want for their children the same basic values I want for mine.

It's fascinating to learn about the leaders of the country and their families.
