$1200 to $1800 so you can reprogram your car. Don't think so. I guess if you make a living out of reprogramming cars then it is a good piece of equipment to have around, if not, that's a lot of money to be throwing around.

$1,200 for the reprogrammer. I could buy either HPTuners or the GM Tech 2 scanner for less than that. I really don't see any justification for buying it. I could just take my car in to a dealer and have them update the software if it needs it. Even that would be cheaper than the reprogrammer.

@482lost Yes, this video is to show people how computers are reprogrammed, I'm not advising a do it yourselfer to buy the machine. It's for mechanics who are serious about working on modern cars.
