He sings this song exactly the same way as original recording on "When Pigs Fly." Same inflections, character voice, tambor, etc. This may lack originality, but Michael Mott has a beautiful voice.

Absolutely... but there is a difference between showcasing your beautiful voice (which he has) in a musical comedy piece, and mugging thru a gimmicky song.

Showcases are about showing your forte`. Therefore, if you're a character actor, which he obviously is, then you do a piece that showcases that aspect of your abilities.

he seems like he would be perfect to play the role as one of the producers in the play The Producers!! he has an outrageous sence of humor like nathan lane and matthew broderick

i've been out of college for a couple of years BUT, I am pretty sure showcases are all about first impressions. Maybe this was just a showcase for parents, but for agents and casting agents... definitely all about the first impression.

I can understand why someone would think this after only seeing him once, but those of us who have seen him perform numerous times do have a different opinion. I saw him perform this live, and I thought it was hilarious. I've also seen him perform in shows, and he's really good.

glad you were laughing because this was obviously intended to be humorous..do you know what musical comedy is? anyways i think it's hysterical and he has a kick ass voice...he doesn't need your luck

is this a joke? this was for showcase in new york??? lololol!!! look at the choreography!!! lol sorry my friend and i have been laughing at what the colleges are putting out for showcase now and this is one of the funniest we've seen yet good luck!!!
