A song written by Cy Coben and Mel Foree as far back as 1949, this has been covered by many artists including Hank Snow, Karen Young, and even The Beatles with Tony Sheridan (before they hit the big time). It is more of a Country Music song rather than Folk, but being sentimental, I like it so decided to upload it. This is a lovely song Tony. My Dad used to sing this, He didn't play an instrument but had a really lovely Irish singing voice.
