[If you don't want to read my ramblings, the second paragraph is the vidding info. The rest is just me waxing poetic about our couple.]

We all know that Crossfire gave us what we've been waiting for since that fateful day in the cornfield (Crusade or the Pilot, take your pick). And I'm as giddy as everyone else that Clois finally reached their moment. But I also love every step of their journey (though some was a little harder to muddle through than others).

This vid was a really fun challenge. I didn't just want to show their iconic moments; I wanted to show EVERYTHING. This is the ultimate Clois vid: it shows every single moment from Clark and Lois's first meeting to that steamy kiss in the bullpen. Of course, I made a few executive decisions about what constituted a scene, and I realized as I was rendering it that I forgot the Rage scenes completely (whoops). But, for the most part, this is Lois and Clark from the beginning.

I actually thought I couldn't take anymore Smallville after the depressing season 8 finale. I didn't even bother watching the season premiere (terrible, I know) or the following episodes. However, I caught one of SuperGem's Rabid clips (thanks thanks thanks!) and was appropriately chastened. So this vid is a reminder to me, and hopefully everyone, that Lois and Clark are epic, no matter what's happening on Smallville. Their journey is what makes them so great together. They've annoyed each other, been there for each other, let each other down, grown together, and fallen in love with each other. Patience is always rewarded, and our prize has just begun ;)

So sit back and enjoy the romance that was five (71) years in the making.



*little note about the video*

I know there are a lot of instrumental breaks in this song. I originally had some voiceovers, but ultimately I felt they detracted from the vid. But I've also toyed with the idea of making another version with voiceovers (which I could hopefully work in more appropriately than I did the first time).

Please give me your thoughts on this! If you think that's a terrible idea or would really like to see it, I definitely want to know!

Also, sorry for the few instances of terrible quality clips. I mostly use full episodes, but my harddrive is full and I had to make do with LQ clips for a few scenes.

Hey do you think someone could try doing more Clois videos with Halou as a backing track. I think the band have really dreamy songs and it goes well with Clois. I would but I don't have the technology. But I really like the way you put all these scenes together OMWI!! :)

I love this Clark. He reminds me so much of this boy I had an on again/off again crush on in high school. He lived on a farm, and he liked to tease me for no reason. I teased him back but that's besides the point :P

This is a beautiful look back at Clois' history on Smallville! You did an amazing job, bringing back so many great memories from the past! I have one question though, what episode is the clip at 4:13-4:14 from? The shot of Lois sitting on Clark's desk talking to him and he's just giving her those dreamy eyes and smiling?
