Das Schwarze Auge - Drakensang

Part 1 is completely translated.

A gameplay video of the new german game "Drakensang", which isn't out for English users, yet (the Releasedate is what, January ?).
So I translated it because I'm ze ubermensch. The video is cut into 5 parts.

I recorded the introduction letter at a new start of the game and cut directly before you arrive in Ferdok. This way we don't have to see the damn long tutorial area. My two companions at the start are Rhulana (Amazon) and Dranor (Strayer). The gameplay goes until I finish the talisman quest.

I bought the game on August 1st and it was worth every €. It comes very close to games like Baldur's Gate.

(My character is a charlatan, a thief-mage)

@twinkstance pretty bad comparison, considering WoW never boasted having the best, or most realistic graphics. The graphics for WoW are as they are because it works for the game.

Guild Wars, Final Fantasy Online, Rift, Aion, all went for a more "realistic" look, and a look that "surpasses" WoW...and look where that got them.

Well, i have played WoW almost since its release and i can tell you that at least the Burning Crusade was great back in the days. Remember that wow is not only the gameplay, but the setting, and the new zones, looks and specially sound and music were amazing.

Anyways, blizzard are losing everyone's respect since they are becoming greedy console-centered fucks with meh innovation standards.

Looks like i'll give Guild Wars 2 a try (SW:ToR looks mediocre to me).

@blackhorse1988 As a former player of Guild Wars I'd say that it was 10x better than WoW. It was the bullshit expansions that ruined GW for me (hearing the same from WoW players). Just hoping they wont screw it up with GW2. =)

@Luciffrit Oh yeah there are two drakensang games out so far and a browser based mmo of it (which is completely different).
