I was at this game. Brilliant up until the 4th minute (When Robbie Keane scored) Whelan could have doubled it, but a win is a win!!!

Ìreland missed a glorious opertunity to qualify for the world cup. Should have beaten a lacklustre Italy team at home and a 10 man Italy away dropped points against Bulgaria and Montenegro.
Roy Keane was right Ireland are afraid of the next step and should stop feeling sorry for themselves. They lack the ruthless killer instinct

Duff and Finnian will be back for the Bulgaria match, we'll beat them away, Steven Reid should be back for the Cyprus match, we'll beat them with reid, duff and finnian. Then hopefully if we beat Italy we will go automatically but we will get to the world cup, play off or automatically
