If we follow down this path then we have to give voting congressional representatives to Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, Northern Mariana Islands, etc. which would obviously unfairly benefit the Democrat party.
Guess what you rich little spoiled Liberal who dwells in a fantasyland aka Hayden Panettiere. DC is NOT a state. In fact citizens of DC do have voting rights, they have 3 electoral votes in the electoral college. They don't have congressional delegation other than for their non-voting delegate. But if a resident of DC for some reasons feels obliged to vote for a US Senator or Congressman then they have the right to move to a state to do so.
