Its time to awake and change our food choices. Livestock industry is contributing to 51% of Global Green House Gas emissions (World Watch). Methane causes 72 times global warming than CO2. At 37% of global methane emissions, livestock is the single largest source of human-caused METHANE.

For every piece of meat that you eat, you are not only risking the survival of yourself but also the 6.796 billion of people and numerous species that inhabit the planet.

If meat is that bad, why hasnt every bodybuilder died of cancer? They all eat huge amounts of red meat, white meat, fish and eggs.

I always juice all my veggies in the morning because I cant stomach most of them and eat fruit throught-out the day. I dont want to stop eating meat and eggs as I go gym a lot and need a lot of protein and I personally enjoy them.

I cant eat piles of spinach all day long.

The protein powder I take is from milk and eggs, is that bad too?

We do not need meat to be healthy. We eat it because of either habit, taste or convenience. Our digestive system is not designed to handle it and neither habit, nor taste or convenience do not justify the amount of fat bad staff we consume with meat, the killing of the live sentient beings that goes with it, or the damage that is done to the planet and our environment, or the hundreds of thousands of children and humans that starve while we feed our grain to cattle!

We have poisoned the environment and now we are experiencing the same poisoning, a microcosmic version of the earth. The realisation that the cruel treatment of animals and the consumption of their flesh is slowly killing us, realising the karmic consequences of our western diet should be made by all of us. Fueled by suffering and death, how we would ever think that this kind of food would provide us with health, sustenance and consiousness. Eating death causes death.

    An awakening film!

We? What are you saying? If the corporations want it they get it when we buy their stuff.

Im all for veganism but the world is not in danger! We are. Planet Earth has handled metorites, massive tectonik shifts and ice age.

In my very un scientific oppinion pollutants won't destroy the planet.

I see global warming more as an eviction notice and the world will keep spinning along long after we are all dead from our own pollutants (evicted). and then some other form of life will start from our rubble.

There's no vitamins, fatty acid(or any essential nutrients) only found in meat (except congucated fatty acid... but it's a trans-fat detrimental to health).

i think the ideal diet should be mostly vegetables with lean meat simply as a garnish. We need certain vitamins and fatty acids that can only be found in meat, this has been proven. But most people go overboard with meat, and that's why it's causing so much trouble. A portion of meat is actually only as big as a small stack of cards! Mixing this small quantity of meat with a salad would taste great, and have few calories and saturated fat. Also, the more organic products we consume, the better.
