I tried to kill The Butcher unprepared, I was shittin' bricks.

THE hardest boss in Diablo. Even Diablo himself is a cakewalk compared to the butcher. I always just skip killing the butcher and come back at a higher level. Unless you trap him on the stairs, the rogue and sorceror don't stand a chance.

You will need a very high dexterity to be able to trade hits with the Butcher.

If you don't, he will land blow after blow without getting hit.
