Normally I'd say "What the heck, isn't the doctor supposed to be peaceful! And he never carries a gun!" But, A. There's no negotiating a peaceful arrangeme\nt with an Angel, it's pretty much kill (freeze) or be killed. B. He wasn't actually shooting to harm anyone. And C. These things have just killed a bunch of clerics and two of the people he cares about are in danger.
So under these cirumstances I thing this little b n' b (badass in a bowtie) momernt was pretty awesome.

@LegoDaleks Freedom of speech works both ways, and it means we have the freedom to tell you you're a shithead.
Just because you can express an opinion doesn't mean anyone has to like it or care.

Moffat still has potential and I can see him making the series transition back into the realm of sci-fi. Smith plays a more alien doctor and is far more whimsical than any of the newer ones, which I personally like, but his episodes haven't been strong. It seems to me that there is still hope for Moffat to pave the way for a new director and doctor to bring life back into the show. But Tennant was the main one to kill the show.

@LegoDaleks Now those are valid points of which I wont bother to refute. The show definitely isn't like the older doctor who, but part of the reason may have been the target audience. I personally hated Russel Davies, as he was a Drama Writer, not a sci-fi writer. He had a few good episodes and ideas, but not enough. He revived the series, but as a sub-par drama sci-fi show.

@LegoDaleks Well said LegoDaleks.
I understand the show has to be quicker and episodes shorter but there does seem to be a condescending attitude that viewers can't absorb intelligent plot lines or ideas.
Whole of TV is geared (just like society) towards a youth movement like they're the ONLY age group. This is insulting to ALL people.
The Britishness has been played down as well.
The old who had smaller budgets but the writers were far more focused and clever.
Ironic that.

@yellowfireyoshi Okay 1 example of 1 aspect of Nu-hu that deserves criticism that isn't just an opinion but fact: Nu-hu has dumbed-down dialogue in that the Doctard uses teenage dialogue like: "stop mucking about" & "don't diss the sonic". He also repeats nonsensical catchphrases. He also quotes kids TV shows instead of literature like the Dr of the original series used to do. Just compare quotes that you can easily find on the internet of DW & Nu-hu, then it is clear how dumbed down Nu-hu is.

@LegoDaleks It was a mistake on my part, as it was meant to be directed at this comment.
But I fail to see any criticism being made here because you aren't posting your criticism. As far as it goes, your point hasn't left the realm of subjectivity.
@yellowfireyoshi I haven't seen the Old Doctor Who, but don't criticize David Tennant, brilliant character, story, and most of all, Russel T. Davies did a lot of great writing, is Sci-Fi the show being truly Sci-Fi really that important? if so, just go watch old reruns of Doctor Who and stop criticizing an awesome show.

@junpeil33t You're talking to the person who uploaded the video. You can't tell me not to criticize Tennant because criticism is an important aspect for all digital media. I don't like Davies because his concepts of sci-fi suck. Did you read my post, he is a dramatic writer, meaning the episodes would have been stronger if he wrote them as a drama.
Tennant did kill the character because he is the fan favorite. That leaves little for the doctor's character development.
