Lars changed his double bass style now he uses his heel up but at the last clip you can clearly see him double bass the way he used to do

I would like to take Lars sticks and toss them, give him a real pair of sticks, put that stupid china cymbal where it belongs and put a hi hat there and just see if he remembers how to play like in the And Justice days and before, or better yet stick him behind the And Justice kit and maybe he would remember. I only say because his style has changed so much, and all and all he is a great drummer and i wish i could play half as good as him!

@beeterolds Yeah, youre right, but i dont think they were trying to relive the glory days, i think they still had a love for thrash and they wanted to make a raw sounding album in an attempt to make a reentry into the genre. I expect another good album from metallica

Its his fault the black album was one of the best Rock Metal Albums of all time.. right... No i like their metal roots.. I like metallica as a whole.. UNTIL Jason left... They shined in the 80s as metal gods.. the continued to shine in the 90s with their change in direction.. they went to hell after Jason left because they were trying to relive

@beeterolds Lars had amazing groove in AFJA, had incredible power in the Black Album, best thrash drumming ever in MOP, some of the most influential drumming in RTL and Kill Em All. Load and ReLoad to me is just proof they wanted to be unique. Youre probably the only person in the world that thinks their metal roots suck. And in all honesty, every wrong thing that went on in Metallica's career, happened with Newsted, so i think he might have been cancer.
