Hey man cool video. I like the fact that you are sharing with others what you have learn over so many years playing the bass.
I have been looking everywhere to buy a bass with a maple fretboard, maple neck and natural wood body. So far I have only found models similar to your Fender bass in other videos.
Can you please recommend me some bass brands/models like the one you are playing on this video? This one is just perfect!

I thought the minor scale started with 5 to 8?

@Krow83 There are 4 minor scales in a key. The natural or relative minor starts on the 6th degree.
