Dude, you can place the camera on the G-pod, that's fine, but the video will be so shaky that will be hard to see. Do you have any footage taken with this setup?

wouldn't the constant vibration damage the video camera? do you ride on trails or on smooth surfaces only. Save up some money and invest in getting the GoPro HD Hero.

That looks like a Gorilla Pod SLR. Did this work for you? I tried the same thing with a regular Gorilla Pod and it wasn't strong enough.

That is the SLR version. It is a little beefier so it works well.
