Strife MUGEN Ganbatte, Ayu-chan #2: Juggernaut

Juggernaut Day continues!

This was actually the first time I used Ayu, who I was downloading while recording my last Juggy fight with 2k-tan. So, since I had already fought him three times, I figured I'd try him a fourth with Ayu. This explains why her name is wrong in this one and not in the "initial viewing" Homer video.

One thing that helps Ayu a lot against Juggernaut is her Just Defend. Properly timed, such as during a Head Crush, she can recover a solid chunk of lost health. And using a character for the first time against someone who can dish out a lot of damage, it's a very useful trait.

Another minor benefit is that brief pause in the opponent's assault. Used against a simple attack, it leaves an opening for a counterattack, giving her a viable defensive game when backed into a corner.

Cute, easy to play, and surprisingly effective. There's one particular challenge I want to try with her... that may just end up being her initiation video. More to come on that after pitting her against a slightly more difficult opponent.
