I was at this conference last week, I've been going to the school since July. I've been vegan for a month now, and I feel better than I've felt since I was in elementary school, lol! I'm actually going to start seeing clients within a month or 2.
Def go for it, you don't need a piece of paper to be an expert. Your expertise is derived from you experience (indeed, that's what defines an expert). Send me a pm if you have any questions! = )

I really want to be a raw vegan health coach...I feel like I really don't need all this claptrap but I'm worried that I can't do what I want to do if I don't have some kind of certification or piece of paper....hmm...you know what, I think I'm just going to post ads on free boards offering my services and see what happens. Why not. Thanks for inspiring me.
